Wichita’s presidential debate

Kansas isn’t a swing state in the presidential election, but we had our very own debate nonetheless. Kansas State Representative Jim Ward (D-Wichita) represented President Obama and David Kensinger stood in for Mitt Romney. The debate took place on the campus of Wichita State University on October 30, 2012, and was sponsored by the university’s Political Science Club and Presidency Club.
