A teacher told me today that he listened to the show and that Helen said several things about the proposed bond. What she doesnt seem to understand is that we need FEMA shelters to be dual purpose - instructional and safe. PE may only be a mandate for 9th grade but many students take classes as electives. I don't know Cochran and I don't know Lutz but my money is on Cochran as she has stuck to her original message while USD 259 and their pep squad of 'unbiased' Eagle editorialists and columnists change theirs when the opposition confronts head on!
