The reason the count of “illegals” is relevant is because they are included in the population likely to use expensive emergency room care instead of a simple doctor’s visit.

If unpaid, these costs are passed on to all, unnecessarily raising the costs to all.

Waste is not a conservative value.

“One of the problems in the health care debate today is lack of facts — at least facts that all sides of the debate can agree on. Without such agreement, without a basic set of facts and data to reason from, we’re not likely to make any progress.”
I can agree with this statement Bob, but that means facts from both sides.
The problem is the both “sides” ignore the facts, make some up and just generally engage in lying, fighting and screwing over the American people. Business as usual.
Not until the infighting stops and both parties can work for the people and not themselves or special interest we’re doomed.
Our politicians are destroying our country!
